Support at Home

From 1 July 2025, Support at Home will replace the Home Care Packages (HCP) Program, in response to recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.

Support at Home aims to better support older people to remain independent at home, as well as ensures higher levels of care for those with complex needs who require more help to remain at home.

Support at Home will have new assessment and classification arrangements to ensure the program is more equitable.
